An entrepreneur and an artist

Born in Miami, to Cuban parents Julio has a true zeal for life. He spent most of his youth in central Florida later moving back to his native Miami to attend Florida International University.  During his college years he was involved in performing arts working on several theater, film and tv projects.  With most of his focus on his studies, he attained his BS in Communications from FIU in 2001.  Julio spent the next ten years working for an international association of accounting firms. He became the CEO of the group in 2006 and led them to a merger that created one of the top associations of accounting firms in the world expanding their coverage to 384 firms in 90 countries, with a combined fee volume of more than $US 2 Billion.   In 2007, he married the love of his life, and in 2010 they welcomed their first son followed by their second son three years later.  In 2012 he resigned from his position and went on to establish Abacus Worldwide, an international association of law, and accounting firms with current membership spanning 100 offices in 30 countries and a collective member revenue in excess of $250 Million.  In 2017 Julio also became a licensed Real Estate professional in the State of Florida working with a select group of clients and personally investing in Real Estate.  Since 2013 he has once again sparked his passion for performing arts focusing mainly on Film and TV. Above all Julio loves spending time with his wife Barbra and his two sons Gabriel and Caleb.
