JULIO GABAY

Julio was born in Miami, to Cuban parents. Throughout his high school and college years he was involved in acting, modeling and performing arts working on several theater, film and tv projects. 

 

After a hiatus from acting, Julio reignited his passion for performing arts in 2013 and has since worked on some major feature films, hit episodics, short films, and  screenwriting projects. 

 

Julio made his feature acting debut alongside some of today’s most prominent Latin talents, namely Ana de Armas, Wagner Moura and Edgar Ramirez, playing a supporting role in the Netflix top 10 film, Wasp Network (2019) directed by acclaimed director Olivier Assayas (Personal Shopper/Irma Vep). Following that success, Julio was cast as El Saguaro (supporting) for Brad Pitt’s action-thriller, Bullet Train (2022), directed by David Leitch (John Wick/Deadpool 2/Fall Guy).

Some of his televsion credits include, Chef Jeremey Sheridan in season 1 - episode 17 of the hit CBS/Paramount+ series, FBI International. Julio was also cast as Luke Broughton in the hit WB series, All American as a recurring co-star in episodes 11 and 13 of season 6. Most recently Julio played Prosecutor John Morales, a recurring guest-star, in Tyler Perry's Divorced Sistas season 2 - episodes 3 and 4. 

 

Julio has also written, produced and starred in a short film titled 'WAKE", directed by emmy nominated Avi Youabian. The film completed its festival run in September of 2025 with Julio winning two Best Actor awards. Julio has penned the feature length version of WAKE and is currently in early stages of developing the feature. He has also written a series pilot screenplay, 'Miami Famous' and another feature length screenplay, 'The Two'.
